DON’T ever get between fame-hungry Hilaria Baldwin and a television camera! Her henpecked husband, Alec Baldwin, learned his lesson the hard way when the former A-list star briefly interrupted his wife on a red carpet while the couple was promoting their flop reality show The Baldwins. When a journalist asked the couple if there would be a second season of the series, Alec, 67, jokingly called it, “The Hilaria Show,” as his wife, 41, explained that they were “gonna see how it feels.” “It’s gonna be great. You’re a winner!” a supportive Alec interjected while Hilaria was still responding to the interviewer. “Oh my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking,” Hilaria reprimanded him, as the mortified 30 Rock alum sheepishly hung his head. “Sorry,” he responded glumly. “This is why we’ll have to just cut him out of the show,” she told the reporter. Later, when Alec is answering a question, she shushes him, saying, “Stop! You’re annoying me!” “I see Hilaria showing disrespect and dismissiveness,” says Patti Wood, body language expert and author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language and Charisma. “Hilaria escalated this to symbolic physical abuse by flinging her hand towards him as if she wished to slap him as she admonished him.” Alec, meanwhile, “looks exhausted and beaten down,” Patti says.

“And he crushed her feelings by telling her the public doesn’t like her any more than they do him!” The oldest and best-known of the four acting Baldwin brothers was a respected actor who once got flashy roles in big movies, but the only jobs on his horizon now are small, straight-tostreaming films that pay peanuts, says the source. “He sees his acting career going down the tubes, and those in his inner circle believe his marriage may go down right along with it. “They’re in big trouble — the tension between them is palpable!”
